ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY

Gain a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology in the comfort of your own home with this nationally recognised distance learning course. You can study at your own pace and support is available from tutors at the School. The final examination is taken at home.

CPD - Massage & Pregnancy - a one day course for qualified massage therapists who would like to treat pregnant women or for those wanting a refresher. A highly practical day which runs from 10am - 4pm and costs £50.

CPD - Reiki & Visualisation - this one day course will help Reiki practitioners utilise visualisation techniques with clients to deepen their healing. A highly practical day which runs from 10am - 4pm and costs £50.

CPD - Reflexology & Chakras - a one day course for reflexologists to deepen your understanding of chakras and their role in health. A highly practical day which runs from 10am - 4pm and costs £50.

Aromatherapy
Running from March 2011 to September 2011, this practical courses leads to a nationally recognised course in Aromatherapy.

Crystal Healing
4 days plus home study and assessments
The Diploma course leads to a nationally recognised qualification (VTCT) in Crystal Healing, enabling you to become a qualified Crystal Healing practitioner.
As well as four days in college, the course requires home study, plus tutorials, and incorporates health & safety, anatomy and physiology, practical application, assessments and case studies. This course runs over three months.-

Reflexology
Reflexology uses specific pressures and massage techniques on the feet to stimulate the bodies own healing processes – both physical and emotional. It has many benefits which include balancing the body's energies and boosting the immune system.
The course leads to a Diploma in Reflexology and includes monthly college-based study, home study, case studies and anatomy and physiology.

Hopi Ear Candling
Hopi Ear Candling is an ancient technique which has been used in many cultures throughout history. It involved burning ear ‘cones’ for physical and spiritual cleansing - to heal, clear the spirit, and refresh the aura.
Today, Hopi ear candles are hollow tubes, much like a straw and when lit, are held safely by the practitioner, upright in your outer ear. The resulting warm swirling current of herbal vapour has a massaging and soothing effect on your ear, nose and sinuses.
The two day course is held over a weekend and incorporates health and safety and anatomy & physiology, as well as practical training. The course leads to a professional qualification in Hopi Ear Candling.

Auricular Therapy
Auricular Therapy works on the energy meridians without the need for needles. By massaging acupuncture points in the ear, the whole body is effectively treated, bringing about healing and relaxation. Benefits include pain relief, detox and easing chronic ailments.
In addition to two full days of hands-on training, the course contains pre-reading, home study and continuous assessment, which will lead to a professional qualification in Auricular Therapy.

Reiki 1
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is an ancient system of natural hands-on healing that heals the body, mind and emotions and promotes health and happiness.
The highly practical two day course is held over a weekend, during which you will learn how to carry out a full Reiki treatment on family, friends and yourself. You are also required to return to college for a brief session three weeks after your training in order to successfully complete the training course.
Once you have successfully completed Reiki 1, you may decide to go on to complete Reiki 2, which will enable you to become a Reiki practitioner.

Reiki 2
This course follows on from Reiki 1 and leads to a qualification in Reiki 2 which enables you to become a Reiki Practitioner.
The two day course is run over two days and incorporates health & safety as well as hands-on training. As for Reiki 1, you are also required to return to college for a brief session three weeks after your training in order to successfully complete the training course.

Flower Essences

The Level 3 Diploma course leads to a nationally recognised qualification in Flower Essences, enabling you to become a qualified Flower Essences practitioner.
As well as six days in college, the course requires home study, plus case studies and a final assessment. As well as learning about flower essences, the course also includes understanding vibrational medicine, working with chakras and dowsing for imbalances.
During the course, you will also be required to study for a diploma in Health, Safety, Security & Employment Standards if you don’t already have one.
